Job Overview
Your role will involve managing the performance of a designated region, supporting the SOM, and delivering top‑class security services for Sainsbury's. Short summary of key responsibilities follows.
Responsibilities
* Effectively support and assist the SOM in managing the performance of a designated region, ensuring all contracted and temporary hours are fulfilled by trained officers to the complete satisfaction of stores/clients.
* Deputise for the SOM during times of absence and take full responsibility for the operational performance of the allocated business in relation to overall targets, ensuring compliance with key SLA’s/KPI’s.
* Maintain and promote the Mitie brand and reputation by providing an industry‑leading security provision.
* Maximise the efficiency of the deployment of officers utilising systems and technology to deliver intelligence‑led services based upon risk and data analysis.
* Contribute to the success of the Sainsbury's contract through effective training and continuous colleague coaching.
* Support the customer and be responsible for the timely completion of crime‑related reporting and any other crime‑related tasks/activities.
Main Duties
* Deliver results for the identified area that meet or exceed the budget and service delivery requirements through full responsibility and accountability for delivery of induction, STARS training, corporate training documentation, and officer development plans.
* Ensure compliance with SMART usage and officer standards, deliver focus topics and ad‑hoc training, and embed learning with ongoing support.
* Conduct performance management, PIP and development plans for officers, oversee uniform standards, and ensure behaviours and situations that endanger health & safety are identified and rectified
in line with company policies.
* Support the SOM with QHSE incident investigations, complete full investigations and submissions during SOM absence, and maintain communication with the Mitie community.
* Undertake duties associated with void properties, including site inspections and audits, and undertake SOM responsibilities during absence.
* Recognise achievement and develop the Mitie community, manage risk assessments, and support overall service delivery.
