An established engineering company based in Birmingham requires an experienced toolmaker / general machinist. Duties: * Perform manual operations such as drilling, tapping, boring, conventional milling and lathe work. * Read and interpret engineering drawings. * Check specification and accuracy of produced components using standard engineering measuring equipment. Requirements: * Background in engineering with toolmaking and general machining experience. * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. * CNC machine setting and operating an advantage. * Proficient in the use of engineering measuring equipment Hours: * 8am to 5pm Monday to Thursday and 8am to 1pm Friday.
