Drivers Direct Recruitment are looking to recruit a HGV 1 Drivers to help support clients in the Newport area.Hours of work:Monday to Friday roughly 45+Weekends also available only if requested.Salary:Days - £17.93ph inclusive of holiday payThe Role:TrampingGeneral Haulage HGV 1 vehicles.Mainly trunking and trailer swaps, some curtain work maybe necessary.Duties/Responsibilities:Carrying out relevant daily vehicle safety checks and reporting as per Operational Procedures.Ensure all delivery and collections are carried out in accordance with company procedures.To deliver & collect to customers in a safe and professional manner.To complete all work related paperwork in full and hand in at the end of the shift.Essential Skills:Must hold a valid HGV 1 / Cat C+E licence.Must hold a valid driver qualification (CPC) card.Must hold a valid Digital tacho card.Must have at least 6 months experience!Good communication skills.Good customer relations.Have a safe driving record.No more than 6 minor penalty points due to insurance stipulations.No DRs, INs or DDs offence codes due to insurance stipulations.INTERESTED?Please apply online or call our office on 02920 864333.TPBN1_UKTJ
