About the job
The Business Development Manager position is responsible for generating leads, representing Dalla Corte at exhibitions, managing a sales pipeline and contributing to the growth of Dalla Corte in the UK Market.
Your tasks
* Identify and generate new leads through various channels, including cold calling, networking and online search
* Showcase Dalla Corte coffee machines at exhibitions, trade shows and other industry events
* Build and maintain relationships with potential clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions
* Manage a sales pipeline, ensuring timely follow-ups and effective communication with prospects
* Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement strategies to increase brand awareness and generate leads
* Contribute to the growth of Dalla Corte's business in the UK market, including market research, competitor analysis and identifying potential partnerships
* Stay up to date with industry, trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in the coffee industry
* Provide regular reports and updates on sales activities, market trends and customer feedback
Requirements
* Passion for coffee and a strong desire to learn about machinery and technicalities
* Proven experience in business development, sales or related field
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients
* Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
* Quick learner with the ability to understand and effectively communicate technical information
* High enthusiasm and eagerness for a new challenge
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong organisational and time management skills
* Willingness to travel to coffee shows and exhibitions in the UK and around the world
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
