Overview
You\'ll play a vital part in supporting our vulnerable customers, some of whom have complex care needs, ensuring their safety and creating a welcoming community. This is a night security role that requires staying awake while the rest of the world sleeps.
Responsibilities
* First line of support when the wider team or networks aren\'t available
* Ensure building safety through patrols, fire door, locks and security checks
* Think on your feet to handle incidents, from suspicious activity to emergencies
* Pitch in with cleaning and tidying when needed
* You\'ll go home each day knowing that you have helped change our customers\' lives for the better
Job details
1. 4 on / 4 off rolling rota, 20:45 to 08:00
2. Regular day time training and team meetings
3. Confident using technology for CCTV, records and customer support
4. You\'ll need an Enhanced DBS check done and we pay for that
5. A vehicle insured for business use (mileage reimbursed!)
6. Calm under pressure with strong communication skills
7. Passionate about supporting vulnerable people (public service experience a bonus)
8. Sociable, observant, and quick to spot changes in behaviour
9. Confident stepping in before issues escalate, handling situations sensitively
