GP Training Programme Director (London - UCLH)
GP Programme Directors are responsible for providing education in a safe environment for doctors aspiring to become GPs. This role involves planning, facilitating, and evaluating the learning process, with support from other Programme Directors.

Main duties of the job
The GP Training Programme Director will work with and support the Head of School in leading the delivery of various functions aligned with the NHS England mandate.
This includes overseeing the GP School programme management and advising the Head of School on:
* Specialty-specific matters and trainee/trainer concerns
* Recruitment to training posts and programmes
* Utilizing educational resources to support learners in reaching their full potential

Experience and Knowledge
* Significant experience working with learners or doctors in training within an educational setting

* Understanding of the national context of GP Specialty Training and the local training scheme
* Proven track record promoting Equality and Diversity in healthcare
Qualifications and Training
* Primary clinical healthcare qualification
* Participation in educational development courses (e.g., educator courses, Train the Trainer)
