Role Overview
JDI Distributions Ltd is a UK-based international trading and e-commerce business
specialising in the distribution of regulated vape and nicotine products and associated
accessories. The company operates across B2B wholesale supply to international clients and
distributor partners, as well as B2C sales channels, with trading activity across multiple
overseas markets.
As part of its ongoing growth, the business is expanding its international sales operations and
distributor relationships, including within Mandarin-speaking markets. While the company
works with overseas manufacturing partners as part of its supply chain, this role is not a
procurement or sourcing position. Instead, it supports sales execution, client communication,
and order-related coordination within an international trading environment.
The Business Sales Executive is a sales-focused, execution-level role, operating under
management direction. The position supports B2B sales activities, international distribution
processes, and Mandarin-language commercial communication as part of the company’s
international sales operations.
Key Responsibilities
Support B2B sales execution across wholesale and online channels, including
responding to international client enquiries, preparing quotations and pricing
information, and maintaining accurate sales and customer records
Support the development and maintenance of professional relationships with
international wholesale clients and distributor partners, including those operating
within Mandarin-speaking markets
Assist with sales order coordination from initial enquiry through to fulfilment,
ensuring accurate communication with clients and internal stakeholders
Provide Mandarin-language support for routine commercial communication related to
sales execution, including clarification of product information, pricing, and order
requirements with overseas business partners
Support international distribution activities by assisting with coordination of delivery
timelines, logistics-related information, and order tracking for cross-border sales
Support the day-to-day operation of the company’s e-commerce platform (Evelyn
Vapes), including product catalogue maintenance and preparation of basic sales and
performance reports to support management review
Provide ad-hoc sales-related and operational support reasonably required to
support the company’s international sales activities, where such tasks are
incidental to the core sales function and aligned with business needs
Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, organisational
ability, and commercial awareness, with the capability to support international sales processes
in a structured business environment.
Key attributes include:
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. Additional language skills
(such as Mandarin) are an advantage.
Knowledge of, or familiarity with, Chinese consumer markets, business culture, and
international commercial practices
Basic commercial awareness and an interest in international sales and market
development
Ability to support sales processes from initial client engagement through to order
execution
Ability to assist with information coordination across sales, customer, and operational
functions
Good organisational and time management skills, with strong attention to detail
Comfortable working independently while following management direction
Willingness to undertake occasional international travel, including travel to China
(e.g. Shenzhen and Dongguan), to support sales meetings, client engagement, and
relationship coordination activities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM software
* Bachelor’s degree or above (or equivalent relevant experience)
