King’s College Wimbledon International School in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, is seeking an outstanding Founding Head of Junior School to lead the early years and infants (pre-nursery to year 1) and junior (years 2-6) sections of a new King’s College International School opening in August 2027.
This is a unique opportunity for an inspirational and dedicated leader to establish a King’s College International Junior School in Ho Chi Minh City, with full support from the King’s International team in Wimbledon and the Founding Head of School.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of strong leadership, ideally within the prep sector. They should be capable of innovating, inspiring, and building strong relationships with staff, students, and parents. The Founding Head will shape the educational journey, direct academic strategy for the early years, infants, and junior sections, and ensure the campus provides a happy and secure environment for all pupils and staff. The role involves sitting on the Executive Leadership Team and contributing to positioning the school as one of the leading international schools in Asia.
The appointment is expected to commence by August 2026, with some flexibility in start date under certain circumstances.
