CLASS 1 DRIVER
3-5 SHIFTS PER WEEK – INCLUDING WEEKENDS
START TIMES: 05:00 - 07:00
£16.00 - £24.00 PER HOUR
People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Class 1 Driver to join our well-established client based in Rushden, Northamptonshire.

Rates of Pay
* Monday to Friday: £16.00 per hour
* Saturday and Sunday: £24.00 per hour
Day to Day Duties
Your duties as a Class 1 Driver will involve but not be limited to:
* Collecting trailers of food waste from RDC’s
* Operate and drive various Class 1 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations
* Adhere to traffic laws and regulations
* Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
* Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management
* Ensure that all loads are safe and secure
Essential Skills
As a Class 1 Driver you will need to:
* Hold a valid UK Category CE Driving Licence
* Have a minimum of twelve months experience driving CE vehicles
* No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes
* Have a valid CPC Card and UK Digi Card
* Must be able to speak and read a good level of English
Desirable Experience
* Experience driving walking floor or bulk tippers beneficial but not essential
Training
* Drivers partnered up for one week to train and learn the role
* Industry related training and ongoing support throughout
