Senior Specialist Audiologist (Band 6) Location: Croydon, UK Department: Audiology Rate: £25.50 per hour PAYE About the Role We are seeking a Senior Specialist Audiologist to join our clients team in Croydon. You will play a key role in the delivery of adult audiology services in a hospital setting, supporting patients with complex hearing needs, tinnitus, and those transitioning from paediatric to adult services. Key Responsibilities Perform diagnostic audiology tests, including pure tone audiometry, middle ear tests, and differential diagnosis assessments. Fit, adjust, and review hearing aids; provide aural rehabilitation for inpatients, outpatients, and home visits. Provide ear wax removal after appropriate training. Develop and deliver deaf awareness/communication training. Supervise and support junior audiologists and contribute to service development. Liaise with multi-disciplinary teams, patients, and families, ensuring high standards of care. Undertake administrative duties, maintain patient records, and support audits/research. Requirements B.Sc. in Audiology, BAAT parts I & II, or equivalent; M.Sc. desirable. Experience in adult audiology, including tinnitus and complex hearing needs. Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of safeguarding, health & safety, and data protection principles. GENNORTH
