Contek are working closely with a Haulage client in the UK who operate from 3 different sites in the UK including Leeds, Liverpool and Walsall providing Nationwide service.
Job Title: Leeds Transport Administrator
Job Purpose
To provide administrative support to the transport operations team, ensuring the smooth and compliant running of daily logistics activities. This role is key to maintaining accurate records, supporting drivers, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
Monday-Friday: 10am – 6pm.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain transport documentation including PODs, permits, and compliance records.
Liaise with drivers, customers, and suppliers to resolve queries.
Monitor and update transport management systems and spreadsheets.
Assist with data entry, and basic reporting.
Support the team with general office duties including answering calls and emails.
Skills & Experience
Previous experience in a transport or logistics office (preferred).
Strong administrative and organisational skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of transport compliance and scheduling software is an advantage (TOPS preferred) Training will be given if needed
