As part of the central IT team, you'll play a key role in ensuring that staff and students benefit from reliable, secure, and modern IT systems.
The role will be based at a high school in Oldham 5 days a week onsite.
Your new role
As an IT Support Technician (2nd/3rd Line), you will:
* Provide advanced technical support across the Trust, resolving escalated IT issues promptly.
* Manage and maintain hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
* Collaborate with the Head of IT Services and colleagues to deliver IT projects and upgrades.
* Train and guide staff on IT systems and best practices.
* Monitor backups, disaster recovery, and cybersecurity protocols.
* Liaise with external IT service providers to ensure efficient delivery of services.
* Support the development and enforcement of IT policies and procedures.
* Ensure compliance with GDPR and safeguarding requirements.
