Job Title: Inclusion Support Assistant

About the role
TimePlan Education is working with a secondary school that requires an Inclusion / Nurture Room Support Assistant to work with pupils who struggle in mainstream classes. This is a great role for someone passionate about SEMH and pastoral support.
Responsibilities
* Supervise a small nurture/inclusion room, supporting pupils removed from lessons
* Help students regulate, reflect and reintegrate back into class
* Support with behaviour plans and restorative conversations
* Liaise with pastoral staff, SENCO and teachers about pupil needs and progress
Qualifications
* Have experience with SEMH, behaviour or youth work
* Be calm, patient and skilled at building trust with vulnerable pupils
* Be resilient and consistent, with a strong commitment to inclusion
