About The Role
As a Senior Care Assistant at HC One, kindness is at the core of everything you do. It influences every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Your responsibilities will include planning and delivering care that promotes residents' security, dignity, and independence. You will build relationships with residents and their families to ensure personalized care plans. Leading a team of Care Assistants, you will uphold high standards of care and influence your team positively. Tasks may include assisting with mobility, end-of-life care, or communication with families, always with kindness.
You will support the Registered Nurse and Care Manager in providing physical and mental stimulation through activities, and administering medication. Maintaining accurate records and fostering strong team relationships are also key parts of your role.
Ideally, you will have completed a Level 2 Diploma in Adult Care and be willing to pursue Level 3 or equivalent. Experience in person-centered care planning and caring for people with dementia is preferred. Your positive energy, ability to communicate kindly, and effective time management are essential.
