This is a key role responsible for managing sales, purchase, and nominal ledger activity for a growing arm of the business. The successful candidate will support monthly management accounts preparation, assist with forecasting, and handle customer and supplier queries with professionalism and care. Key Responsibilities Generate and issue sales invoices accurately and on time Reconcile supplier statements and process payments Produce monthly customer statements and manage credit control Respond to customer account queries and process refunds/credits as needed Prepare ledger postings, perform bank reconciliations, and assist with VAT returns Support monthly management account preparation and reporting Contribute to budget/forecast updates and assist with ad-hoc financial reporting Work collaboratively with wider finance and operational teams Skills & Experience Currently studying AAT or higher Strong Excel and general IT skills Excellent accuracy, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset Experience with Sage Personal Attributes Clear communicator with a friendly and approachable manner Positive, solutions-focused attitude Strong sense of ownership and accountability Team-oriented with a collaborative approach Outstanding Benefits Include: 8% employer pension contribution 26 days holiday plus bank holidays Extra day off for your birthday Free lunch from the on-site café Private health insurance Life assurance & many more This role would be suitable for an AAT studier who is looking to take that next step in their career.
