Job Description
We are recruiting on behalf of a leading logistics provider for an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee operations within a healthcare contract. This is a key role focused on delivering high standards of service, operational efficiency, and team leadership.
You will take full responsibility for the day-to-day warehouse operation, ensuring accurate stock management, efficient processes, and excellent customer service. Acting as a key interface between operations and the customer, you will lead a team of warehouse operatives and technicians while driving continuous improvement and cost efficiencies.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage daily warehouse operations, resources, and space utilisation
* Oversee Goods In/Out, stock control, and inventory accuracy
* Lead and develop warehouse teams, including recruitment, training, and performance management
* Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and ISO standards
* Monitor KPIs and implement process improvements
* Support budgeting and cost-saving initiatives (P&L exposure)
* Maintain strong customer relationships and service delivery
* Manage audits, reporting, and issue resolution
About You
* Proven experience in a warehouse leadership role (3–5 years+)
* Strong people management and leadership skills
* Experience in stock control, audits, and warehouse systems (Oracle desirable)
* Good IT skills, including Excel
* Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations
* Commercial awareness with a customer-focused approach
* Forklift experience/license and full UK driving license preferred
