Senior BMS/HVAC Estimator (Pre-Sales Engineer)
Location: Bracknell, RG12 1EB
Pay: £18.50 per hour
Hours: Monday - Friday, 9 am - 5 pm

Our client, a reputable leader in smart building technology, is seeking a skilled Senior BMS/HVAC Estimator to join their dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in shaping cutting‑edge projects from initial concept to proposal.
What you’ll be doing:
* Developing accurate, competitive cost estimates for BMS and HVAC systems, including materials, labour, and scope
* Collaborating with Sales and Design teams to support bid development and win strategies
* Interpreting RFQs and designing fit‑for‑purpose technical solutions
* Producing detailed proposals, Bills of Materials, and technical documentation
* Engaging with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing
* Conducting technical and commercial reviews for internal approvals
* Partnering with Operations to validate costs, identify risks, and improve efficiencies
* Supporting client meetings, negotiations, and technical discussions
* Staying up-to-date with the latest BMS, HVAC, and smart building technologies
* Ensuring compliance with processes, quality standards, and health & safety policies
What you’ll bring:
* Over five years’ experience in BMS/HVAC estimating or pre‑sales engineering
* Strong knowledge of Building Management Systems and HVAC solutions
* Proven ability to produce detailed, accurate estimates and proposals
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Advanced proficiency in Excel and proposal documentation
Desirable skills:
* Experience with CPQ tools (Configure, Price, Quote)
* Knowledge of energy solutions and cloud-based systems
* Familiarity with Honeywell or similar BMS platforms
* Experience working on large-scale or international projects
