Heidelberg Materials is looking for a dedicated Asphalt Plant Operative to help drive quality, efficiency, and safety at our site. What You’ll Be Doing Operate and maintain the asphalt plant and weighbridge to meet daily production targets. Plan production based on customer needs and plant capabilities. Carry out start-up and shut-down procedures, optimizing throughput. Operate mobile plant machinery (e.g., Front-End Loaders) for loading and feeding. Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on static and mobile equipment. Ensure accurate weighbridge operations and complete daily reports. Refuel and maintain machinery in line with manufacturer and company standards. Support nearby sites when needed – travel allowances may apply. What We’re Looking For Experience operating plant machinery and weighbridge systems. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. Flexible availability, including weekends. Good timekeeping and a proactive attitude. Willingness to travel to nearby sites when required. Key Accountabilities Safe and efficient operation of weighbridge and plant.
