Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. We have recently expanded in to repairing more cars so are looking for a painter with experience on cars that can work at a fast pace whilst still adhering to a high qc standard. The ideal candidate will have a passion for painting and a keen eye for detail. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring high-quality finishes. The Painter will be responsible for delivering excellent workmanship while adhering to safety standards and key to key times. You will be working alongside an excellent team of painters with the best equipment possible, we recently installed PPGs new Moonwalk one of a handful in Scotland.
Responsibilities
* Prepare vehicles for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections.
* Apply paint using spray equipment.
* Working on various vehicles sizes including Cars, HGVs and Caravans
* Mix and match paint colours to achieve desired shades and finishes.
* Communicate effectively with team members and clients to understand project requirements and timelines.
* 3 stage painting experience an advantage
* Ensure all work areas are kept clean and organised throughout the painting process.
* Conduct quality checks on completed work to ensure it meets company standards.
* ATA certification an advantage but not essential.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in a bodyshop setting.
* Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
* Knowledge of different painting techniques and materials is essential
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
