GSL Education are seeking a dedicated PPA Cover Teacher to deliver high-quality lessons in a welcoming school in Derby. This role is ideal for a teacher who enjoys variety and thrives in dynamic classroom environments.
About the Role:
As a PPA Cover Teacher in Derby, you will step into different classrooms to ensure continuity of learning during teachers' planning, preparation, and assessment (PPA) time.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and effective lessons aligned with the National Curriculum.
* Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation.
* Collaborate with class teachers and support staff to ensure smooth transitions and consistent learning.
* Use assessment strategies to monitor progress and adapt teaching accordingly.
Requirements:
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in school setting.
* Demonstrate flexibility and confidence in managing different classroom settings.
* Have a solid understanding of the National Curriculum and effective teaching practices.
* Possess excellent classroom management and behaviour strategies.
* Be skilled in adapting lessons to meet the needs of diverse learners.
