Health Care Assistants play a vital role alongside nurses to deliver excellent care to our patients with diverse health conditions. The role is both exciting and challenging, requiring teamwork and good initiative.

If you are new to the NHS, your starting salary would be £24,937 (from 1st April 2025), which is below the new minimum threshold and not eligible for sponsorship. Please refer to the NHS Terms and Conditions of Service Handbook for more information.
The post holder will be responsible for delivering patient care, developing, implementing, and evaluating care programs for specific patient groups and supporting overall ward care. As a Health Care Assistant, you will provide daily clinical care to the nursing team, actively supporting the Ward Manager in maintaining high standards of care.
Experience in healthcare is advantageous but not essential. Successful candidates will participate in the care certificate course, developing basic nursing skills and competencies such as blood pressure measurement, venepuncture, and ECGs.
