The Role We are seeking a Compliance Officer / Compliance Lead to join a well-established organisation within the compliance and SHEQ sector. This is a permanent role, available due to retirement, with a knowledge handover offered for a smooth transition. The role involves managing compliance processes and accreditations, ensuring contractors and clients meet requirements, and supporting both office-based administration and occasional site activities. Key Responsibilities * Maintain and manage company compliance processes and documentation * Oversee accreditation standards (including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001) * Review PQQ forms, insurance checks, and contractor compliance records * Communicate compliance requirements clearly to clients and contractors * Balance office-based compliance admin with occasional site visits * Support SHEQ initiatives and continuous improvement About You * Previous experience as a Compliance Officer, Compliance Administrator, or in a SHEQ role * Experience handling accreditations (ideally ISO standards) * Knowledge of PQQs, insurance checks, and contractor compliance * Process-driven and detail-oriented, with strong organisational skills * Excellent communication skills, able to liaise confidently with clients and contractors * IOSH/NEBOSH qualifications desirable, but not essential * Full UK driving licence required What’s on Offer * Salary up to £45,000 (depending on experience) * Travel expensed at 45p per mile (plus food & accommodation where required) * Electric car salary sacrifice scheme * Supportive, mentoring-focused culture * Long-term opportunity with knowledge transfer from the outgoing postholder Apply Now If this role is of interest, please click apply now
