Job title: Junior Change Management Engineer
Location: Warwick
Salary: £33,000 to £36,000 plus 5% annual bonus
Contract: 12-month Fixed term contract, working on-site full time
Our client a leading energy provider in the Warwick area has a requirement for a Junior Change Management Engineer to join their team in an exciting and vital transformation period, bringing energy to life. They are passionate about both operating the network safely and providing reliable quality of supply for their customers. At the heart of achieving these outcomes is the effective control and operation of our network.
SCADA systems are critical for the real-time operation of the electricity transmission system, ensuring safety and system security standards are always maintained.
This role is responsible for the continued, reliable operation of the network SCADA solution, establishing and then maintaining new ways of working, planning, and supporting network assets and SCADA solution changes, driving efficiency of tools and data access, whilst maintaining safety, and a deliverable plan of change activities.
The successful candidate will have the following desirable skills and experience; However, training and ongoing support is available:
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
Educated to either Electrical HNC or degree level/ ideally in a STEM subject (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) - electrical engineering preferred.
Previous Project Management experience
Technical understanding of electricity - desirable.
Knowledge of Cyber security risks - desirable.
Change management and process efficiency ( 6 Sigma/Lean) - desirable.
Knowledge of data bases, displays and network modelling.
Have high personal standards of work and attention to detail.
Ability to communicate effectively with all members of the team and stakeholders.
Competent user of Microsoft Office applications.
Enhanced security checks will be required for this role.
