Senior Ecologist – Warrington
We’re looking for an experienced ecologist to lead projects, support junior team members, and contribute to high-quality environmental outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and coordinate survey planning across a variety of sectors such as residential, infrastructure, renewable energy and conservation.
* Produce detailed reports, manage licensing requirements and engage with stakeholders.
* Provide practical ecological advice to clients.
* Support and mentor junior staff.
* Manage project schedule and deliverables to meet client timelines.

Qualifications
* Degree in ecology or a related subject.
* Significant experience in ecological consultancy.
* Strong field skills and experience in a range of habitat and species surveys.
* Ideally a protected species licence (e.g., bats, great crested newts).
* Excellent report writing and ability to deliver high-quality outputs on time.
* Solid understanding of UK wildlife legislation and planning policy.
* Experience in project management and client liaison.
* Full CIEEM membership (or eligibility).
* Full, clean UK driving licence.
