Responsibilities
* Provide physical therapy services under the supervision of a qualified Physical Therapist, following the patient's Plan of Treatment
* Consult regularly with the Physical Therapist regarding patient progress and concerns
* Assist with equipment cleaning, maintenance, and department area upkeep
* Report equipment issues to ensure proper functioning
* Communicate patient needs and progress, and assist in securing adaptive equipment to enhance rehabilitation
* Maintain and submit accurate patient treatment and billing documentation in compliance with regulations
* Adhere to the company's Code of Conduct, policies, and applicable laws
* Participate in staff development programs and continuing education to maintain clinical skills
Qualifications
* Current unrestricted license as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the practicing state
* Basic Life Support or CPR certification per state requirements
* At least one year of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant preferred
* Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques for complex neurological injuries
* Effective verbal and written communication skills
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
