Residential Property Solicitor / Conveyancer - Battle, East Sussex
Full-Time | Office-Based
The Role
* Managing a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters including freehold, leasehold, new builds, shared ownership, bridging finance, remortgages, and buy-to-let/portfolio transactions
* Handling transactions from instruction through to post-completion
* Drafting and reviewing contracts and title documents
* Liaising with clients, estate agents, brokers, lenders, and third parties
* Using a case management system efficiently and accurately
* Ensuring timely billing and maintaining high client care standards
* Supportive environment with three other fee earners based in the Battle office
Requirements
* Conveyancing Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer with a minimum 1 year of fee earning experience within residential property
* Strong knowledge of the conveyancing process and associated matters
* Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
* Strong communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills
* Experience with leasehold, corporate clients, and portfolio landlords is desirable
* Commercially aware and proactive in approach
