VANRATH are delighted to be partnering with a long-term, one of Ireland's most progressive and premium FMCG brand builders, to recruit a National Account Manager for their Northern Ireland business.
This is a key commercial role, reporting directly to the Commercial Director, with responsibility for managing and growing a portfolio of wholesale and retail customers across multiple food and drink categories.
The successful candidate will play a central role in delivering customer business plans, driving volume and revenue growth, and ensuring excellent execution across brand, trade marketing and field sales teams.
The Role:
* Ownership of key national and regional wholesale / retail accounts across NI
* Delivery of annual volume, revenue and contribution targets
* Building and maintaining strong, commercially focused customer relationships
* Leading Joint Business Planning (JBP) and managing promotional and trade spend
* Managing customer price files, promotions, retros and accruals in line with finance
* Driving range compliance, NPD listings and distribution growth
* Accurate monthly forecasting by SKU to support demand planning
* Working closely with Brand, Category Insight, Supply Chain and Field Sales teams
* Identifying and unlocking new distribution and growth opportunities
The Person:
* Proven experience in FMCG account management within retail and/or wholesale
* Food & drink experience is essential
* Strong commercial and financial acumen
* Confident negotiator with a track record of delivering results
* Strategic, analytical thinker with a proactive, solutions-focused approach
* Highly organised with strong stakeholder management skills
* Comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced FMCG environment
* Strong IT skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
