Bradley David Associates is recruiting a shipping and logistics coordinator to join our valued client based near Maldon, Essex.
We are looking for a Shipping and Logistics Coordinator to manage and optimise the transportation and distribution of goods globally. The successful candidate will ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods while maintaining compliance with industry regulations and company standards. This role is essential to supporting our supply chain efficiency and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.
Job Summary:
* Up to £25,000 - this is negotiable dependent on experience so all applicants welcome.
* Monday to Friday - 9am - 5:15pm, 1 hour lunch.
* Annual bonus based on company performance

Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate and monitor inbound and outbound shipments of goods.
* Schedule transportation, track shipments, and resolve shipping delays or issues.
* Work closely with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and carriers to ensure seamless logistics operations.
* Prepare and process shipping documents.
* Ensure compliance with domestic and international shipping regulations.
* Maintain accurate shipping records.
* Negotiate freight rates and manage shipping budgets.
* General admin duties.
Qualifications:
* Logistics, shipping, or supply chain coordination experience.
* Strong knowledge of domestic and international transportation, freight, and customs procedures.
* Proficiency with logistics software and MS Office Suite.
* Excellent organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
