GSL Education are seeking a dedicated PE Teacher to work across schools in Sheffield, supporting learners in the S2 and S3 areas to build physical skills, confidence, and a love for sport. As a PE (Physical Education) Teacher, you will deliver structured lessons and practical activities, encouraging participation, skill development, and personal growth in a positive and inclusive environment. Core Responsibilities: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging PE lessons across a variety of sports and physical activities. Develop students’ physical skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback. Promote participation, fitness, and enjoyment in all PE sessions. Organise and supervise sports events, extracurricular activities, and competitions. Maintain a safe, inclusive, and motivating environment for all learners. Requirements of PE Teacher: Qualified teacher status (QTS) with experience teaching physical education. Strong knowledge of the PE curriculum and a range of sports. Excellent classroom management and communication skills. Ability to inspire students and encourage participation in physical activity. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
