The Role
The role holder will work closely with the Commercial Director and be responsible for delivering the sales strategy for the Wealthtime platform. Delivery will be through the aligned Regional Sales Managers (RSMs) and Business Development Managers.
This will involve managing the sales team on a day-to-day basis and supporting the Commercial Director on strategic initiatives. They will play a key role in the development and future growth of the sales function.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop and implement sales strategies, tactics, and profit targets in collaboration with the Commercial Director.
2. Lead and manage the Regional Sales Managers and ensure the achievement of growth targets and high standards of sales service.
3. Manage a team of Business Development Managers to maximize revenue from established adviser firms.
4. Define the Business Development Manager strategy.
5. Identify and report on business opportunities in target markets.
6. Develop propositions aligned with business goals.
7. Stay informed about the business and economic climate affecting the company and stakeholders.
8. Act as the main contact and escalation point for advisers.
9. Ensure all sales activities comply with legal and regulatory standards.
10. Represent the company as an ambassador and role model.
11. Foster mutual trust, respect, and cooperation within the team.
12. Collaborate with Marketing on sales activities.
13. Ensure consumer duty considerations are integrated into all sales processes.
14. Review and approve strategies for managing risks.
Additional activities may be assigned by the Commercial Director, including ad hoc projects.

This role is classified as Certified under the Senior Managers and Certification Regime (SM&CR).
Essential Skills, Qualifications, and Experience
* Proven success in delivering sales within a senior role aligned with budgets.
* Experience managing and motivating sales teams, especially telephone-based teams.
* Background in Financial Services.
* Knowledge of establishing distribution networks and business introducers.
* Excellent relationship management skills.
* Strong organizational, negotiation, and communication skills.
