Opticore IT is a specialist Network Engineer and Project Management consultancy offering a wide variety of opportunities to work within fast-paced, challenging environments across our client base spanning multiple sectors including Finance, Broadcast Media, Telecommunications and more.
Opticore IT is currently searching for a Network Security Engineer to join our client on medium to large-scale projects varying in design, implementation, and support on Prisma SDWAN and Prisma Access projects with various clients. This opportunity is a hybrid position with the need to visit the client site on occasion, potentially 1 day a week at most.
This is a 6-month contract inside IR35, which is highly likely to be extended.
What you'll be doing:
1. Advocate for Opticore, working with our client, a leader in security, delivering multiple projects focused on their SDWAN solution.
2. Work directly with clients, helping them achieve their goals and understand the difference between their wants and needs.
3. Engage with customers during discovery, design, implementation, and handover phases.
4. Address a variety of issues, from product-related to internal network problems.
5. Become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on their product set and serve as the main contact point for the client throughout the project lifecycle (design & implementation).
6. Assist customers with hardware sizing.
What you'll bring:
1. A consultative mindset and approach.
2. Proven experience delivering Prisma Access or Prisma SDWAN projects.
3. Confidence to push back to clients or internal teams to ensure project goals are met.
4. A long-standing history of networking experience.
