Salary: £104,000 - 130,000 per year Requirements:
* Proven experience as a System Integration Engineer on complex system or platform migrations.
* Experience working within a UK police force or policing environment.
* Hands-on experience integrating NicheRMS or a similar police Records Management System (RMS).
* Strong background in system integration, including APIs, middleware, and data exchange.
* Experience integrating legacy systems within highly governed environments.
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work across multi-disciplinary teams.
* Direct experience working on NicheRMS integration programmes (desirable).
* Knowledge of police data standards, information management, and governance frameworks (desirable).
* Experience on large public-sector, criminal justice, or blue-light transformation programmes (desirable).
Responsibilities:
* Design, build, and support system integrations between NicheRMS and legacy or adjacent policing systems.
* Develop and maintain integration interfaces, APIs, and data exchange mechanisms.
* Support data flows, message transformation, and reconciliation across integrated systems.
* Collaborate with data migration, DBA, and architecture teams to ensure end-to-end solution delivery.
* Troubleshoot integration issues and support defect resolution across test and live environments.
* Ensure integrations meet security, performance, and resilience requirements.
* Produce and maintain integration documentation, interface specifications, and test evidence.
* Support integration testing, cutover activities, and post-implementation support.
