Position Summary:
This role provides direct clinical patient care, including assessing, planning, and implementing care for assigned patients on a per-shift basis and at the unit level. The role involves supervising staff to whom appropriate care is delegated. The role supports the CNO in ensuring high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care, maintaining clinical staff competency, and managing resources related to patient care.
The candidate should have effective interpersonal and communication skills and serve as a role model and advocate for the nursing profession.
Qualifications:
Education:
* Required: Graduation from a state-approved or accredited nursing school.
* Preferred: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in nursing.
Certifications:
* Required: Current license, certification, or registration to practice as required by law or policy; CPR certification.
