Our Location
We are a Scottish start‑up with just over 120 colleagues across the UK. This is a field‑based role focused on the South of England; you’ll need to be comfortable with regular travel and ideally located within the region.
About the Team
You’ll join our high‑energy Sales team, reporting to the Head of Sales. You’ll collaborate with Growth, Onboarding, and Support to ensure a smooth experience for newly signed retailers.
About the Role
As Sales Manager for the South of England, you’ll identify, engage, and sign up the best independent convenience stores to the Snappy Shopper platform. Your responsibilities include:
* Develop and own winning sales strategies to bring new retailers onto our platform.
* Generate and manage your own pipeline using outbound prospecting and inbound leads.
* Deliver compelling face‑to‑face sales pitches using Snappy Shopper sales materials.
* Travel daily across the region, with occasional overnight stays.
* Ensure a seamless handover of newly signed stores to Onboarding and Growth teams.
* Provide ongoing support during the first 12 weeks of a retailer’s journey to ensure long‑lasting success.
About You
* Proven experience in B2B sales, field sales, or business development (ideally in retail, FMCG, or e‑commerce).
* Strong pipeline management and lead generation skills, using tools such as CRM, social media, and competitor analysis.
* Exceptional communication and negotiation skills to influence retailer decisions.
* Track record of hitting and exceeding sales targets.
* Proactive, self‑motivated, and able to manage your own schedule effectively.
* A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel daily.
Ideally, you’ll also have knowledge of the competitive landscape, including Snappy Shopper alternatives.
