Join Our Team as a Finance Business Partner!
Are you ready to elevate your finance career? We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Business Partner to join our dynamic team at the Harlow Depot on a permanent basis!
In this role, you will report directly to the Senior Finance Business Partner and play a crucial part in supporting our Supply Chain and Operations Division. Your mission? To strike the perfect balance of support and challenge for our supply chain management teams, helping them achieve sustainable, profitable growth while ensuring effective operational delivery and exceptional customer service. You’ll be collaborating across multiple locations, including Harlow, Aylesford, Brighton, and Thetford.
Work Flexibility: Enjoy a hybrid working arrangement! You’ll be required to attend the Harlow or Aylesford depot twice a week, with occasional visits to Brighton and Thetford. Flexibility with travel is essential.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Analyze and interpret weekly and monthly reports to enhance performance monitoring.
* Produce monthly management accounts and conduct variance analysis.
* Provide weekly flash and monthly forecasts of depot costs and volumes in collaboration with non-finance management teams.
* Report and monitor KPIs and volume on a weekly basis.
* Prepare budgets and forecasts, ensuring consistent levels of challenge for cost control.
* Work closely with management teams to identify trends, continuous improvement opportunities, and underperformance issues.
* Act as the first point of contact for finance-related matters within function management teams.
* Ensure compliance with Group policies and procedures for tight financial control.
* Meet SOX requirements and investigate any variances with appropriate documentation.
* Engage in ad hoc projects and queries as needed.
* Compile business cases to support local change projects.
* Identify and resolve errors and discrepancies.
* Manage your workload effectively to contribute to timely and accurate monthly financial reporting.
* Champion a culture of process improvement and assist with change program execution.
About You:
You are a recently qualified accountant or a passed finalist (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) currently thriving as a Finance Business Partner, Management Accountant, or Finance Analyst. You’re eager to join a global organization that supports your career development.
We’re looking for someone who confidently engages with stakeholders at all levels, challenges decisions constructively, and offers solutions to problems. Your finance expertise will be invaluable as you partner closely with the team on risk and continuous improvement. Strong analytical skills and the ability to understand trends and results are essential, along with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Familiarity with SAP or Workday is a plus!
