Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and organised Café Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day running of our café. This role is key to ensuring smooth operations, high standards of customer service, and a positive working environment for the café team.
The Café Supervisor will be responsible for supervising staff, managing rotas, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, overseeing stock and ordering, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors. They will lead by example, inspiring their team to deliver consistently excellent service.

Key Responsibilities
* Oversee the daily operations of the café to ensure efficiency and smooth service.
* Create and manage staff rotas to ensure appropriate cover at all times.
* Supervise and support the café team, ensuring motivation and high performance.
* Maintain strict compliance with hygiene, cleaning, and health and safety regulations.
* Monitor stock levels, carry out regular stock takes, and place timely orders with suppliers.
* Ensure five-star customer service standards are consistently delivered.
* Collaborate with management on recruitment, seasonal staffing, and staff training.
* Support the delivery of events and special functions, ensuring seamless catering operations.
* Handle customer queries and resolve issues professionally and promptly.
* Maintain accurate records relating to staff, stock, and compliance checks.

Experience & Requirements
* Previous experience in a supervisory role within a café, restaurant, or hospitality setting.
* Strong knowledge of food hygiene and health and safety compliance.
* Experience with stock management and ordering systems.
* Demonstrated ability to deliver excellent customer service.
* Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings.
* Food hygiene certification (or willingness to obtain).
