Mobile Locality Officer (Ref: MLO)
Location: Cheshunt, Hertfordshire, EN8 9XQ. Bishops College.
Contract: Permanent
Working pattern: Full Time
Hours per week: 37 hours
Salary: Starting salary £32,227 p.a.

Responsibilities
* Work at the heart of the local community, supporting all neighbourhoods.
* Act as an ambassador for the Council, identify and respond to customer needs.
* Provide support to ensure matters are resolved quickly and efficiently.
* Deal with a wide range of activities, including evidence gathering, responding to customer concerns, and taking action to improve residents’ quality of life and the environment.
* Undertake property checks and inspections at various locations within the Borough.
* Deliver documents and carry out low-level enforcement.
Qualifications
* Full, valid driving licence.
* GCSE level C/4 or above, or NVQ Level 2 in English and Maths.
* Confident use of remote devices such as tablets.
* Flexible problem‑solver, fully committed to customer care.
* Ability to deal with the public diplomatically in difficult situations.
* Prepared to keep up with new legislation and to work evenings and weekends.
* Good local geographical knowledge an advantage.
* Fluent in spoken English and able to converse comfortably with members of the public.
