Manufacturing Engineer - Sheffield Position Summary We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join our Sheffield team. Reporting to the Engineering Lead, you'll be responsible for supporting production, delivering new product introduction (NPI) and continuous improvement (CI) projects, and driving improvements across safety, quality, cost, and delivery. Key Responsibilities Develop and improve manufacturing methods to meet safety, quality, cost, and lead-time requirements. Create and update BOMs, routings, SOPs, and other controlled documents. Support engineering change management and ensure effective implementation. Deliver NPI projects and introduce new tooling and fixtures into production. Lead CI and cost reduction initiatives to improve margin and efficiency. Analyse manufacturing data, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions. Support CAPEX investment cases and technology introduction. Collaborate with operations, quality, commercial, and planning to meet customer needs. Apply risk assessments and H&S input to production processes.Requirements 5+ years' experience in aerospace/metallic structures manufacturing. Expertise in at least two: assembly & fabrication, sheet metal forming, CNC machining, heat treatment, welding, EDM. HNC or higher in Manufacturing/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering.
