About the RoleWe are recruiting on behalf of a specialist service in Buckinghamshire for experienced Mental Health Support Workers to join their bank of staff. This is a flexible, well-paid opportunity to support children and young people with autism and learning disabilities within a CAMHS setting.You will provide hands-on, person-centred support as part of a wider care team, ensuring a safe, nurturing and therapeutic environment is maintained at all times.
ResponsibilitiesSupporting children and young people with complex mental health needsWorking with young people with autism and/or learning disabilitiesDelivering consistent, high-quality care across varying shift patternsCollaborating with wider multidisciplinary teams to support positive outcomesMaintaining accurate records and reporting to senior staff as required
RequirementsCAMHS experience (essential)Experience supporting children with autism and/or learning disabilities (essential)Full UK driving licence (essential)Calm, compassionate and resilient approach to careStrong communication and relationship-building skills
