The role sits within a hands‑on finance team, supporting the day‑to‑day execution of lending and funding operations. It’s operational, detail‑driven and busy, ideal for someone who enjoys working with large volumes of data, wants to take ownership of their work and develop quickly.
Key responsibilities
* Managing daily funding and mortgage‑related payment flows, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
* Monitoring, allocating and reconciling collections and incoming cash to the correct accounts
* Preparing and processing broker commission payments and statements
* Overseeing accounts payable, including supporting and supervising an offshore team
* Performing high‑volume bank and control account reconciliations
* Responding to queries from brokers and internal stakeholders across the business
Qualifications
* Early‑career and part‑qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA)
* Strong Excel skills and confidence handling large, complex data sets (lookups, pivots, reconciliations)
* Experience in finance operations, lending operations, cash reconciliations or similar
* Solid understanding of basic accounting principles (debits, credits, trial balance)
