Job Description:
We are looking for skilled Production Bakers to join our bakery team. We have multiple positions available for both day and night shifts or a mix of both. This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for preparing and baking large batches of our high-quality bakery products.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in high-volume production and experience with pastry and non-bread products such as sponges, brownies, cookies, and scones. The right attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are essential.
* Day Shifts: Shifts will be 8 hours long, with a minimum of 40 hours per week, starting at 08:00, 09:00, or 10:00.
* Night Shifts: Shifts will be 8 hours long, with a minimum of 40 hours per week, starting at 17:00 to 01:00.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare, mix, and bake a wide range of products according to established recipes and production schedules.
* Accurately measure ingredients for large-batch production.
* Operate and maintain baking equipment safely and efficiently.
* Adhere to all food safety, health & safety, and company guidelines.
* Work collaboratively with the production team to meet daily demands.
* Keep your workspace clean, organised, and safe.
What You'll Bring:
* A minimum of 1 year of professional baking experience in a high-volume production setting.
* Strong experience with pastry and non-bread products (e.g., sponges, scones, cookies).
* Competent math skills for accurate measuring and scaling recipes.
* The ability to work efficiently under pressure and prioritise tasks.
* A positive, team-oriented attitude and excellent time management skills.
* Physically able to stand for long periods and handle demanding tasks in a warm environment.
