To be considered for the role of Nursery Manager you will have:
* Level 3 (or above) childcare qualification
* Good knowledge of the EYFS
* Previous leadership experience (Senior Room Leader, Deputy Manager)
* Ability to motivate, inspire and lead a small team
* Friendly, approachable, and positive attitude
About the Nursery:
The Day Nursery is a home from home setting proving care for children from 3 months to 5 years.
Our client is currently looking for a dedicated passionate individual to help lead the team and provide care to children, with help and support from the Managing Director.
You MUST be passionate about working in Early Years and committed to the safeguarding and care of children at the Nursery.
With a minimum of a Level 3 full and relevant early years or childcare qualification, you will have experience of meeting the requirements of Early Years Foundation Stage. Leadership experience necessary and would be suitable for a Room Leader looking to progress too.

The role of a Nursery Manager within the Nursery involves:
* Managing budgets, marketing, occupancy levels and KPI's.
* Preparing for Ofsted inspections.
* Assisting in the recruitment of nursery staff, manage inductions, supervisions, and appraisals.
* Leading the team and support in EYFS planning and looking at reflective practice.
* Managing staff rota's and staff meetings.
* Ensuring children's observations, assessment and development records are maintained.
* Having lead responsibility of Safeguarding and Health & Safety, ensuring all staff follow policy and procedures.
* Working in partnership with parents forming caring and trusting relationships.
* Liaising with the Local Authorities and other professionals associated with the nursery
