Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences through efficient service, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring the bar operates smoothly. Responsibilities
* Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, in accordance with company standards.
* Take orders from guests accurately and efficiently, ensuring prompt service.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces.
* Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
* Assist with basic food preparation tasks when required, such as garnishing drinks or preparing light snacks.
* Upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities while providing excellent guest service.
* Manage cash register operations accurately and handle payments responsibly using POS systems.
* Monitor guest behaviour to promote a safe environment and address any concerns promptly.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods.
* Follow all health and safety procedures diligently, including food safety standards.
Experience
* Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or similar roles is advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided.
* Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques is desirable.
* Familiarity with serving techniques and guest services will be beneficial.
* Basic maths skills are necessary for handling transactions accurately.
* Experience working in a kitchen or culinary environment can be an asset.
* Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently during busy shifts.
* A friendly demeanour with excellent communication skills to engage positively with guests and team members.
