About the role
The Housing Assistant supports tenancy management activities, managing customer contact and administering procedures for tenants through our housing teams. You will work as part of a team to complete customer contact and administrative tasks to a high standard and on time.

Job Purpose:
Provide quality housing management services to meet customer and community needs, contributing positively to the environment.
Principal Responsibilities:
* Ensure delivery of high-quality, efficient services in liaison with managers
* Support internal and external customer services
* Work as part of a team to provide customer-focused services
* Prioritize work with colleagues to meet deadlines
* Maintain accurate records and track progress
* Assist with staff induction and demonstrate duties
* Order and monitor stock supplies
* Prepare correspondence, letters, and forms
* Manage meeting rooms, hospitality, and visitor sign-in
* Coordinate conferences, forums, and events
* Act as first point of contact for visitors and callers
* Provide excellent customer service
* Use IT applications and databases effectively
* Input, retrieve, and collate data from various sources
* Perform administrative and financial duties
* Participate in meetings and take notes
* Comply with policies on safeguarding, health and safety, confidentiality, and data protection
* Support equality and diversity initiatives
* Engage in training and development activities
* Gather service user information and make referrals for housing support
* Engage with tenants through visits and communication
