The Role
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Oracle ERP solutions, with expertise in implementing, configuring, and optimising ERP applications. The ideal candidate should be comfortable knowledge sharing, and mentoring and coaching less experienced colleagues.
Responsibilities include:
* Product Development – Define, develop and execute the Odyssea methodology for Oracle ERP solutions (which includes building industry vertical ERP solutions as well as the approach to implement them)
* Project Delivery – Create project plans, activities and deliverables (including internal projects). This also includes solution design, architecture and documentation
* Team engagement – foster an open communication environment, support and assist other team members, mentor and coach less experienced colleagues. On occasion, participate in recruitment activities
* Client engagement delivery – lead/engage with clients on ERP transformation/change programmes, including hands-on configuration, stakeholder management and building long-term partnerships. This may also include working with clients to define and structure their ERP business functions
* Business development – collaborate with sales team to create compelling proposals and presentations for prospective clients
* Thought leadership – staying up to date on industry treads, participate at events and conferences. Provide insight, innovation and thought leadership to clients on the latest thinking across ERP
* Compliance and Governance – monitor team utilisation, adherence to organizational policies and procedures, maintain robust data security and confidentiality standards.
Qualifications:
Proven experience (4+ years or a minimum of two full implementation) as an Oracle ERP consultant, implementing Record to Report, Invoice to Cash or Acquire to Retire
Knowledge:
* Developing Oracle ERP templated solutions, methodologies or approaches. In-depth knowledge of Oracle ERP Cloud applications, including General Ledger, Intercompany, Receivables, Collections, Payables, Fixed Assets, Tax and Cash Management.
* Strong understanding of accounting, invoicing, credit management, financial monitoring & reporting, managing cash, financial close, audit and compliance or similar business processes Strong understanding of accounting, invoicing, credit management, financial monitoring & reporting, managing cash, financial close, audit and compliance or similar business processes Exposure to ERP Integration, Data Migration, Reporting tooling and methods
* Proficient in using defect management, configuration and release management tools

Person Specification | Skills and Experience (Desirable):
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field
• Be a fully or part qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/AAT or equivalent)
• Business development in either a sales, pre-sales or similar experience is a plus
• Knowledge of other financial systems or ERP platforms
• Exposure to Oracle Cloud EPM applications
• Exposure to Oracle Procurement Cloud applications
• Exposure to Oracle Cloud PPM applications
• Exposure to Oracle Cloud Enterprise Architecture
• Experience with Local or Central Government implementation projects (UK Government Security Clearance or higher is desirable)
• Annual leave entitlement of 25 days per annum plus Bank Holidays. Our holiday year runs in line with our accounting period from 1st June to 31st May
• Eligibility to participate in the employee utilisation scheme. You could earn up to an additional 10% of your gross basic salary per annum (bonus opportunities and conditions would be discussed with the successful candidate)
• Death in Service Benefit 4 x salary
• Internal recruitment initiative - £5k reward per experience hire after 6 months’ successful probation period; £1k reward per apprentice/graduate hire after 6 months’ successful probation period
• Certified training may be provided
• Paid expenses outside your base location, as per company policy
Location & Commitments
* Permanent contract
* Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
* Remote/hybrid working location, but depending on where you live, you will have a base location at our head office in Langstone, Wales or at our satellite office in Guildford, Surrey
* Travel will be required to our offices and client sites as the project requires. If you are successful for this position, you will be expected to travel as necessary, which may include overnight stays away from your home location
* Standard Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) including Disclosure Barring Scotland (DBS) is a minimum requirement for all roles. This will be completed as part of pre-employment checks by de Novo’s third party supplier Credence.
