Personal Assistant required for a happy and lively 9-year-old boy who lives in Bude. He has Autism and he would like someone who he can build up a positive relationship with and provide him with some 1:1 support. He would like someone to support him with his communication. He loves being outdoors and likes animals. He enjoys the cinema and museums. A personal assistant will enable him to enjoy activities in his local community with his family. Rate of pay £13.45 per hour. Up to 4 hours per week are available, although this is very flexible. Some weekend and school holiday availability will be required. Car driver preferred but not essential. Some knowledge or personal experience of working with young people with special educational needs is essential.
