As the Drivers Medical Support and Allocation Operational Leader you will provide strategic and operational leadership across three operational support teams within the Drivers Medical function, ensuring the effective delivery of work allocation, quality assurance, and business support services.
You will have direct line management responsibility for three Executive Officers (EOs) and their respective teams.
The role requires a strong command of management information (MI), which is used daily to monitor performance, inform work allocation decisions, and identify trends in quality and service delivery. You will lead discussions on operational workflow, champion continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure all support functions operate effectively and in line with wider organisational objectives.
A key focus will be on driving performance, supporting staff development, and embedding a culture of accountability and service excellence. The role also demands a proactive approach to problem-solving, stakeholder engagement, and business planning to ensure high-quality, consistent support to frontline operations.

* Operational experience of leading a multi skilled area.
* Resilience under pressure in a fast-paced operational environment.
* Communication skills, both verbal and in writing with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships.
* Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret MI, identify trends, and clearly report findings to inform decision-making.
