Location: Gloucester (GL1)
Hours: Full Time, Monday–Friday
Salary: £12.90 – £13.75 per hour (depending on experience)

About the Role
A warm and nurturing nursery setting in Gloucester (GL1) is seeking a caring, energetic and dedicated Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join their Early Years team.
This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting children aged 0–5 through play‑based learning, sensory exploration and high‑quality early education. You’ll be working within a friendly team that prioritises child wellbeing, communication and development.

What You’ll Be Doing
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will:
* Support babies, toddlers and preschool children aged 0–5 in daily routines and learning activities
* Set up and deliver sensory play, creative activities and early learning experiences
* Assist with behaviour management using calm, positive, child‑centred strategies
* Build strong, nurturing relationships with children and families
* Provide engaging indoor and outdoor play opportunities
* Follow EYFS guidelines to support developmental milestones
* Maintain a safe, clean and inclusive learning environment
* Support the team with observations and record‑keeping when required

What We’re Looking For
We are seeking candidates who have:
* Level 3 Early Years / Childcare qualification (essential)
* Experience working with children aged 0–5
* Knowledge of sensory activities, child development and early learning routines
* Strong communication skills and a warm, nurturing approach
* Good behaviour‑management techniques and a calm, patient manner
* A proactive, reliable and team‑focused attitude
* An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
