Working hours for the Sliding Head Setter:
Monday Friday (14.00pm 22.00pm)
Next Generation are currently recruiting for a Sliding Head Setter to work with a well-established sub contract machine shop based within the Redditch area. As the Sliding Head Setter you will be responsible for setting and operating Sliding Heads.
Duties of the Sliding Head Setter:
Set and Operate CNC sliding head machines such as Tornos Deco with a TB Deco and/or Fanuc control, Star Fanuc control, Hanwha with Fanuc control
Fanuc programming (Deco programming as advantage)
Focus on production of high-quality components
Maintain the section with offsets and tooling
Leaving work area/machines in good condition at the end of shift in terms of material tooling
Ability to leave machines running safely to support next operator starting at 6:45am
Occasional simple repeat change overs
