You’re the one making sure everything runs clean, safe, and by the book — even when others forget there is a book. If you’re already working in hygiene within manufacturing or food production, you probably know the drill: Daily, weekly, monthly cleaning schedules. COSHH, HACCP, BRC, audits. A team to lead. Standards to uphold. PPE that actually needs to be worn properly. We’re not going to pretend it’s glamorous. It’s not. But it’s important. Really important. You’ll be the go-to person for hygiene on shift — leading a team, checking everything’s where and how it should be, spotting issues before they become problems, and making sure any audits don’t turn into horror stories. You’ll also get stuck in with training, developing your team, and maybe stepping in for the Shift Ops Manager when they’re off. The pace? Busy. The environment? Industrial. The support? Solid.
